Signed in, Übungszeit remembers which words you found hard and works through the level with you — no round repeats what you already know, and hard words come back just before you'd forget them. Signed out, every round is a fresh 20-word shuffle from the same shelf and nothing is saved.

How a round works

  1. 1 · See the German. The word, its article and a speaker button. Say it out loud before you flip — that's the bit that makes it stick.
  2. 2 · Answer honestly. If you knew it without flipping, say so. If you didn't, say that instead — the schedule is only as useful as the truth you feed it.
  3. 3 · Flip and check. The meaning, the plural, and the word doing its job in a real sentence, with audio.
